The e-Framework in Action

Afternoon of Wednesday, 10th October 2007

This half-day workshop will showcase Australian projects that are using the e-Framework for Education & Research to document and plan service-oriented approaches to infrastructure deployment. The workshop will outline the e-Framework for Education and Research. Projects from across the sectors will present the range of applications of the e-Framework occurring in Australia and New Zealand, including repositories, access management, research and student administration. To demonstrate the application of the e-Framework a session will be dedicated to using the e-Framework in the problem space of ePortfolios.

The workshop is aimed at those involved in planning and deploying technical services for education and research.

This session will consist of an ePortfolio expert panel, with input from the previous day's Technology in Education Open Forum, guided through the e-Framework methodology to develop a services model in the eportfolio problem space.
