About Link Affiliates
The Link Affiliates Team within ADFI at USQ activities actively support the effective utilisation of information technology across Australian education and research and beyond. To do this we:
- Engage in, and help others engage in international technical standards development
- Provide advice about technical interoperability and standards
- Support the development, adoption and adaptation of e-learning and e-research standards and policies
- Provide strategic advice by identifying and analysing the opportunities for integrating IT systems
- Run demonstrator projects that illustrate applications of technologies and technical standards
- Solve real interoperabilty problems using innovative methods and tools
- Develop and disseminate information about standards and interoperability solutions
- Provide linkages between individuals, communities and organisations with common interest in technical interoperability and standards issues
- Engage in key e-learning and e-research collaborations in Australia and internationally to undertake research, develop capability and solutions.
